January 1, 2005 started another 4-year cycle during which NAR approved Ethics Training is required. Check out the free online training at realtor.org, but as of October 2, 2005 all who are renewing licenses with Maryland are also required to complete a 3 credit Ethics course which includes Maryland specific topics. See details on the HCAR Licensing Requirements page. An Ethics training class which fulfills both the NAR and MD licensing ethics training requirements is offered by HCAR on a quarterly basis and at New Member Orientation!
