First, I'd like to take a minute to thank all of you for attending our Annual Election and Installation of Officers and Directors on Friday, October 22, 1999. I would also like to thank the sponsors of this event: Coldwell Banker Grempler Realty; Monshower, Miller and Magrogan; AA Home Inspection Services; Lakeview Title; Mortgage Associates; and Annihilators of Maryland. What a great way kick off my year as your president.

The Education Committee hosted another dynamite R.E.N.O. Day on Thursday, November 4, and there were over 200 attendees and at least 17 vendors. Please support the vendors just as they have supported your association. I have attached a list of the vendors and sponsors of R.E.N.O. Day for your review. Al Monshower kept the audience entertained and educated with his Procuring Cause discussion and case study. I have heard from many of you that you felt it was a great event and it felt like a big family reunion.

On Saturday, November 6, the Social Committee hosted the Millennium Ball which was a magical evening. Kudos to Dave Leonard, the Chair of this event, and the Social Committee members who worked so tirelessly. I'd also like to thank the sponsors for their generous support of this event: Lakeside Title, Mortgage Associates, Brantley Development Corp., Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corp., Columbia Bank, Lakeview Title, Patriot/Williamsburg Homes and Title America. The Cattail Creek Country Club provided an incredible array of food and desserts, and the band, Marquise, kept us all out on the dance floor. We hope to see this become an annual event.

There is a lot of information there and I encourage you to send comments and concerns to your President and Board of Directors. We are here to serve you and would like to hear from you.

Several of us attended the NAR Convention in Orlando from November 11-15. I will be reporting on lots of exciting information from our industry leaders in my next newsletter. So please stay tuned!!
