Now that the holiday season has passed us, it's time to focus on our business and I hope that all of our members are doing well. I have selected a few items for your review here.

Legislative Updates Now Available ONLINE at www.hcar.org
You asked for it! HCAR is now offering legislative updates on the national, state and local levels of government online for your convenience. No more misplacing that lengthy paper version of the report! We will continue to provide updates throughout the Maryland legislative session that just began this month.

NAR Responds to Smart Money Inaccuracies
The Feb. 2002 issue of Smart Money included an article titled Ten Things Your Real Estate Broker Won't Tell You that's also recently been posted at AOL. The article contains gross inaccuracies and has sparked the ire of many members of the National Association of REALTORS®. The national association has sent a letter to the editor of Smart Money addressing the incorrect information conveyed in each of the 10 points the article presents. MAR Legislative Day a Success
The event was a big success! We had the best turnout of members we have ever had and we thank you for participating! HCAR was honored for meeting our RPAC fundraising goal in 2001-thank you for contributing! We'll be putting those RPAC dollars to work this election year!

HCAR Brokers/Managers Meet
