Community Action & REALTOR® Excellence
2009 Awards
About: The CARE AWARD
Why: Because your help is needed!
We want to bring your attention to The CARE (Community Action & REALTOR® Excellence) Committee of the Howard County Association of REALTORS® representing the CARE AWARD. The purpose of the CARE AWARD is to identify and recognize outstanding contributions by REALTOR® members serving their community at large through Community Service. MAR Award recognitions range from an opportunity for HCAR to win from $1,000 to a $10,000 grant for charity. The CARE Award is given to associations who have demonstrated extraordinary, charitable community involvement and endeavors.
Your Help: You can help by bringing this information to the attention of your agents who are/have participated in community service and/or with charitable initiatives.
In Turn: We will need to know the nature of the individual's involvement, the charity they are/have participated in, and the length and time of service offered. If your office participates collectively in an event - that would also be included.
FYI: The grant criteria are attached along with the application.
Please Ask: Please ask all your agents to think back about their involvements and please ask your entire office to participate collectively in future ones. The More Entries The Better!
Standby: Our committee members are on standby to help you and your agents with any questions regarding CARE or the application. Expect a contact within 1-2 weeks from one of us as our deadline for submission is fast approaching.
We thank you for your help. Please email with any questions.
Sincerely,
CARE Committee Members
