RAVEN AND REALTORS® TO PUT SMILES ON THE FACES OF INJURED AND
ILL PEDIATRIC PATIENTS AT HOWARD COUNTY GENERAL HOSPITAL

Baltimore Ravens' Running Back Willis McGahee and The Howard County Association of REALTORS® partner up
to provide a truckload of new toys for the Howard County General Hospital's Pediatric Center.

BALTIMORE, MD (April 20, 2009) -- Thanks to the generosity of Baltimore Raven Willis McGahee, The Willis McGahee Foundation and the Howard County Association of REALTORS®, Howard Country's youngest patients will benefit from a gift to the Howard Hospital Foundation of hundreds of new toys, books and DVDs to entertain and occupy them during visits to the Howard County General Hospital's Pediatric Unit. Representatives of both the REALTOR® Association and the Willis McGahee Foundation will be on-hand to personally deliver the toys on Monday, April 20th, 2009 at the hospital located at 5755 Cedar Lane Columbia, MD 21044 at 2 p.m..

Helping others is nothing new for McGahee or the REALTORS®. McGahee has held numerous toy and food drives benefiting Howard County children and has been truly amazed by the support of the community. He plans to continue with community service events on an on-going basis. The Howard County Association of REALTORS® recognized what a great impact it made on the kids and their families and decided to join McGahee in his efforts for this project. Community service has become a staple for the REALTORS® as well. "It's an honor for us to be able to team up with Willis and give back to the community that does so much for us as REALTORS®," says HCAR President-Elect, Bianca Smith. In this philanthropic effort McGahee and the Realtors seek to help make hospital visits a little easier for the children. "It has been very humbling for me to participate in community outreach in Howard County. My hope is to inspire these kids and take their minds off of being sick and to let them know people care about them," McGahee says.

REALTOR® Deb Poquette commented, "I feel especially fortunate to be involved with this project both as a REALTOR® and volunteer with Willis' Foundation. Both groups do so much for the community and having them partner together on projects is really exciting. We hope to partner on future projects and make a very meaningful impact on the community."
