About: The CARE AWARD

Why: Because your help is needed!

We want to bring your attention to The CARE (Community Action & REALTOR^® Excellence) Award, given by the Maryland Association of REALTORS^® on an annual basis. The CARE AWARD identifies and recognizes outstanding contributions by REALTOR^® members serving their community at large through Community Service. MAR Award recognitions range from an opportunity for HCAR to win from a $1,000 to a $10,000 grant for charity. The CARE Award is given to associations who have demonstrated extraordinary, charitable community involvement and endeavors.

Let's Do It Again: HCAR won a CARE Award at last year's MAR Convention and received $1000 for a local charity! We'd love to receive another award this year. We know you are involved and dedicate your efforts in helping our communities; why not tell us about it so we can give even more to a deserving charity?

Your Help: You can help by submitting a completed questionnaire about your community service, and by bringing this information to the attention of everyone in your office who has participated in community service or charitable initiatives.

In Turn: We will need to know the nature of your involvement, the charity you participated in, and the length and time of service offered. If your entire office participates in an event - please have someone submit that also. Pictures are helpful too! Please email any photos to our CARE Committee Chair, Deb Poquette, at deb@thecampinscompany.com.

CARE Questionnaires are Due Friday, June 4.

Please Ask: Please ask everyone in your office to think back about their community involvement and please ask your entire office to participate collectively in future ones. The More Entries The Better!

Standby: Our committee members are on standby to help you and your agents with any questions regarding CARE or the application. Please contact us with any questions and submit your completed CARE questionnaires within 1-2 weeks as our deadline for submission is fast approaching.
