Maryland Legislative Update

Continuing Education History Look-Up Now Available OnLine
The Maryland Real Estate Commission (MREC) recently announced that licensees are now able to check their personal continuing education (CED) credits on-line through the Commission's new education portal.
Licensees will need to use/create a personal password with their registration number to access their records. The records will list the type of credit, (i.e. Legal & Legislative, Fair Housing...), the number of hours the class has, the date the program was given and the school that the program was taken with. All schools, effective since January 2013, are required to up-load their student rosters to the Commission's site, which will populate each licensee's personal record.
(Please note: MAR has only up-loaded classes since September 2012. MAR CED classes given prior to September 2012 are not listed on the Commission's site and licensees should keep their paper certificates for renewal verification.)

MATRIX 102: Presenting CMAs with Confidence
Learn how to utilize Matrix CMA to WOW your clients and close the sale! In this class you will learn how to use the Matrix CMA Wizard to complete a Competitive Market Analysis (CMA). A CMA looks at history, current market conditions and trends to arrive at a range of value for a subject property. The CMA is like a snapshot in time. It is important to remember that creating an effective CMA requires practice.
