As of March 31, 2024, SentriLock has deactivated ALL physical SentriLock cards. The Howard County Association of REALTORS® will no longer provide physical SentriLock cards, nor be able to provide administrative card assistance as of this date.
All SentriLock Subscribers will need to utilize the SentriKey Real Estate Mobile App to take advantage of their SentriLock Subscription.
Submit all SentriLock Documents to the Membership Administrator at [email protected].
New HCAR Members & Potential Subscribers
Step 1: Submit the MARS SentriLock User Agreement
HCAR REALTOR® Members should have submitted the MARS User Agreement signed by their broker and the MARS Rules & Regs documents along with their original HCAR application.
HCAR Preferred Partners will need to download and sign as both the user and participant of the MARS SentriLock User Agreement.
Step 2: Register for a SentriKey Real Estate Training Class
This class is mandatory for any SentriLock subscribers. Classes are available at least once a week. They are currently virtual and will last for 1 hour.
Step 3: Submit the required documents 24 hours before class
The class description will include the MARS Rules & Regs documents to be signed by you, the subscriber if not already completed. Payment for SentriLock will be made directly to SentriLock once you receive an SentriLock Subscriber account set-up link.
Un-Licensed Assistants
Unlicensed Assistants are not members of the Howard County Association of REALTORS®. They cannot have a real estate license. (An active licensee in a referral agency cannot get SentriLock access.)

Step 1: Fill in the application form for Unlicensed Assistants (request the form from [email protected])
Step 2: Register for a SentriLock Training Class
Once your online form is accepted by HCAR staff, you will receive an email with your website login information.
Step 3: Submit the Required Documents 24 hours before class.
MARS SentriLock User Agreement: This document will need to be signed by the broker of the REALTOR® Member you will be the Assistant to.
